StrataMX Backup / Mail Bagging
Email shouldn't stop just because your primary mail server is offline. StrataMX Backup (also known as MX backup or mail bagging) acts as a secondary MX for your domain and safely queues inbound messages whenever your main system is unavailable.
Instead of bouncing or timing out, mail is accepted by our infrastructure and held for redelivery. As soon as your server starts accepting connections again, StrataMX automatically delivers the queued messages. This protects you during planned maintenance, ISP issues, hardware failures, and cloud outages without forcing you to change your primary email platform.
