Storage & Bandwidth Pools
Pools are per reseller account, shared across all your domains, and reset per outage event — not monthly. A quiet month with no outage events uses nothing. An event that exceeds your pool is reviewed and invoiced manually — mail never stops.

Overage Rates
Overages are measured per outage event. All overage charges are reviewed and invoiced manually after the event closes — never auto-billed.

- Is there a per-mailbox or per-user fee?
- No. Pricing is per domain only — regardless of how many mailboxes or users are on that domain.
- What if an outage event lasts weeks?
- StrataMail queues mail for up to 30 days. Overages beyond your pool are reviewed and invoiced manually — mail acceptance never stops.
- Can my customers bring their own Proofpoint or Mimecast?
- Yes. Configure StrataMail as the alternate delivery destination in their filter. The filter's failover handles routing to StrataMail automatically.
- How does SpamWeeder Premium integrate?
- SpamWeeder Premium is the primary MX. Its native multi-destination delivery routes to StrataMail when the primary mail server is unreachable — no DNS secondary MX record needed. SpamWeeder handles the failover trigger natively.
- Can I upgrade tiers as I grow?
- Yes. Tier upgrades are applied at the next billing cycle. Additional domains beyond your current tier are invoiced manually at the overage rate until the upgrade takes effect.
